Manufacturing Process

Material selection:High-grade Carbon steel/ Chrome Vanadium Bars are selected based on strength and machinability.

Hot forging:The required lengths are cut to bars, and both ends are hot forged to form sockets using metal gathering machinery & press.CNC turning finishes socket profiles to accurate tolerances (±0.1mm).

Heat treatment:The spanner is quenched (oil/water rapid cooling) and tempered (heating to 200–400°C) to reach the best hardness (45–50 HRC). Only socket ends are heat-treated since the bars are to be welded at the center for assembling.

Surface Finishing:Electroplating (zinc/chrome) or phos-coating is done to avoid rusting as well as to give an attractive appearance. In certain applications, coloured powder coating is also applied.

Quality Control:Each unit is methodically tested for dimensional precision, torque resistance, and resistance to stress.

Packaging : generally the cross whell spanners are bulk packed. But at times there are packed alongwith hand card & color labels as well.
